A life full of
negativity, constant self-criticism and envy is not worth living. Life,
according to me, should be lived in gratitude and satisfaction. Though we may
not get everything we need and want, there is always something to be grateful
for.
For life which is one of
the precious things we got without paying, for health since a healthy soul resides
in a healthy body, we should be grateful.
For family, our brothers
and sisters either by blood or by choice, for people who can’t give up on us
even if the whole world can turn its back against us, we should be grateful.
For everyone who mention
us in their daily prayer be it collectively or individually, for everyone who
once or more than once in their lives were kind to us though we were total
strangers, for anyone who helped us in any way and helped us to make it this
far, we should be grateful.
For every talent or
natural ability, for education (in any form), for growth, for everything that
nourishes our souls and connect us to the Maker, we should be absolutely
grateful.
For every driving force
that we have in us be it a dream, a vision, passion, an ambition or anything
else that makes us want to live longer or something that makes us wake up no
matter how lazy we could be, we should be grateful.
The last but not the
least, we should be grateful for everything that didn’t work out the way we wanted,
planned or expected because in this lies a great secret related to our purpose
and God (or the Universe)’s ultimate plan for our lives.
A grateful life is free
of complains because everything seems to be enough …you simply have to be
grateful for what you have while working for whatever else you need to achieve.
Peace be upon you.
